Come and Join Your Neighbors
The Volunteer Committee headed by Keri Bennett of Spicewood is making final
preparations for National Night Out. We are looking forward to seeing you and
your family at the event on Tuesday evening between 5:30 and 7:30.
We still need a few more volunteers, specifically--
- To monitor the Bounce House -- we will probably do this in 20-30 minute
shifts.
- To judge the parade.
- I need someone who can take charge and actively help me manage the
teen-age activities, which as of now include--Limbo, Tug-of-War, Egg Toss,
Scavenger Hunt.
- I need someone to spray paint a golf ball gold -- let me know if you have
paint left over from some project or another, I have the golf ball I can give
you to paint.
(If you sent me an earlier email volunteering or have another assignment
already, no need to reply -- we are looking for others to step up.)
PROVIDE COOLERS & DRINKS
McAlister's Deli is providing cookies, tea, and lemonade again this year,
but we are asking residents to contribute drinks.
Water, soda, juice pouches -- nothing too weird or off-brand, please.
Deliver coolers and/or drinks to the clubhouse on Monday evening between
7:30 and 8:30. Someone will be there to receive your items.
