Subject: Zoning issue POSTPONED at Council meeting

Important message for Hills Neighbors--

 

The zoning issue has been postponed until Tuesday, May 20th.    The developer asked for the postponement so that they could ask adjacent land-owners what their long-term plans are.

 

Two representatives from The Oaks at Stoney Creek and I will attend Tuesday’s meeting just in case, but our residents should wait until the May 20th date.

 

Since we have extra time, I will leave the petition on my front porch (610 Weeping Willow) for the next week.   Please drop by and sign if you have not had a chance to sign yet.  I would like to get the zoning petition finished by April 20th.

   

We need to all mark our calendars for the May date.  I will send out several reminders before the May meeting.  It is important to have a large turnout.  The developer is probably hoping that we will loose interest and not have as large a group in May.  We cannot let this happen.  Support from neighbors will be crucial whenever the issue goes before the Council. 

 

Thanks you for your continued interest and support.  Take a break for now, but be ready in May.
